2.    IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS

If you are going abroad, and you are not ready with your passport, then without any time waste, please apply for it. Once passport is ready, apply for VISA depending on the country you are visiting. Don’t make any hinder in your way when you have prepared your mind to travel.

Not only passport is necessary also be ready with all your documents, depending where are you travelling. If you are travelling in your country only, don’t forget to take your own identity proof. If you are a student, always carry student ID card, you never know where you get a facility for being a student. Most Important, if you are taking any medicine in regular basis, always carry your prescription. It will help in case of emergency.

Beside this, I don’t think I need to tell you this, don’t forget to take cash, debit and credit card, your flight tickets (carry age proof if you have booked your airline tickets under the senior citizen category). 3.    MORNING ACCESSORIES

Most of the reader will agree that once in their travel they might forget to take Tooth Brush. If they haven’t forgot any time, then hats off!!! 😊

Well don’t forget to take your tooth brush wherever you go. Although you can buy a new one at any time, but if you are travelling abroad buying a new one will may take up your time. Infact some good hotels also provide tooth brush and paste both. So, you can check the hotel’s facility before booking. You must carry your own face wash/face scrub even if the hotels are providing you the same. You might get rashes if you change your face wash and it will ruin your all good captures in your camera. With this one important thing is to take your shaving kit too.

Always carry one pair of sandal/shoes with you. Select your foot wear according to the place you are visiting. If you are going for trekking, heels are big NO!!. If you are going to beaches, sport shoes are BIG NO!!!. Try to avoid heels if you have to walk whole day. So always carry foot wear wisely. Always take bathroom slippers with you wherever you are going. It helps a lot.

But I will suggest if you are going for a luxury holidays and don’t want to explore much in that place, then you can carry your favourite stuffs. But what is essential here is sunscreen lotion, comb and mini mirror. If you are visiting during summers, don’t forget to take face wipes.

NOTE:- Don’t Take Your Whole Makeup Stuff. Take Only One from Each Category. For example, take only one face powder, sunscreen. Try to save some space in your bag as you will buy some souvenir and stuffs for you and relatives while coming back.

7.    SAFETY AND MEDICAL EQUIPEMENTS

I know how much valuable things are. So, don’t forget to carry bag locks, especially if you are travelling in trains. If you are a solo traveller always carry a pepper spray for your own protection. As told earlier also, don’t carry too much cash in your one pocket. Try to put your cash in different places, like in your hidden pockets of your shirt, jackets, inner or in your luggage. If you are travelling with a family, make sure everyone has some cash (even if it’s a child of 10 years, he must have little cash’), it will help if one is struck in an unknown place.

Beside this, one important thing that need to carry is the medical equipment depending upon your health conditions. Below I have mentioned some important things which need to be carry:-

SAFETY EQUIPEMENTS
Bag Locks
Pepper Spray (must for solo travellers)
Hidden Pockets in your jackets/inners
Medical Kit (Personal Hygiene item, Female hygiene item, contact lens, Bandage/Band-aid, Medical Prescription, Medicines (for vomit, headache, motion sickness cold), eye drop, thermometer)

8.    FOOD

Now why food is so much important to carry? If you are going abroad, and the food is costlier over there, you can save your money by taking electric kettle with you. HOW?
Electric Kettle will save your money in making tea/coffee, preparing Maggi. Infact you can boil eggs also. But make sure, first check with hotels you have booked as some of them provides kettle in room. Also, if you are carrying kettle, take milk powder, sugar, tea and coffee bags with you.

Along with this carry handy foods like biscuit, chips and any dry snacks to fill your stomach in emergency.

** This is required for those who loves tea/coffee and don't want to spend much money in buying that. Can also be used for making Maggi and boiling of egg. Thus, saves money and time. Some good hotels provide kettle, just check this out before packing

9.    EXTRAS

Unluckily we sometimes booked some hotel which are not at all good and you find that the bedsheet and pillow are not clean. At that time, one spare bedsheet can save your one night. Taking one bedsheet and air bag pillow help a solo traveller a lot, who prefer to stay with locals or hostel. Also if one is doing overnight journeys in train or bus, it might help you a lot.

EXTRAS
Bedsheet ***
Air Bag Pillows***
Mosquito coils (if you are visiting any destination in rainy/summer and required mosquito repellents)
Water Bottle
*** This is required for solo traveller, who avoids staying at hotel and lives with local. Keeping this handy will avoid chaos. Family traveller can also take this, it might help them in overnight journeys in train.

LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, DON’T FORGET TO TAKE CAMERA AND YOUR MOBILE TO CAPTURE YOUR FAVOURITE MEMORIES.
